Great Midrange TV!

This is an absolutely great TV set, and the price only makes it better! Picture quality is on par with sets much more expensive than this. Black levels and contrast were surprisingly good. The panel inside the TV is actually made by Samsung, so although it's an off-name brand, it's still fairly legit. TCL uses Samsung panels with most of their TVs. One thing I can definitely recommend is setting yourself up with a good speaker system to go with this thing, because the built in speakers do NOT match the picture quality. Other than that, I've had no problems with it, and I highly recommend it

Not Big difference with Name Brand

I used TCL 32" and 42" TV at my house in past. They are quite cheap in comparison with other name Brand. And, I did not see big difference with any other name Brand TV.Aesthetics are very good for this TV.But, Just to clarify I am also not very choosy about colors, brightness etc. If you want a simple Big Screen TV without investing heavy money then this is right match for you.

TCL 42" LCD

I bought 3 of these before they was listed less than 200. stupid me but i dont regret it i was gonna get the LED ones just because i was focusing more on the thin bezel but i compared the specs and its about a .2" difference the LED ones is .6 these are .8. Honestly its a good product but somethings that they didsnt list that they do come with VGA and component and 2 HDMI. I have been using them for just a bout a day or two and they react very well no bleed the bezel is nice and glossy. The stand is abit cheap looking but who cares its a stand(they dont rotate or anything like that).Also for those looking to run eyefinity these monitors are pretty good thin bezel that you could debezel if you want but its not neccessary. Also if you are using eyefinity I am currently using Guild wars 2 and running at 5780x1080p no lag and I am on medium settings FPS is about 20 to 28 good enough to play the game with no problems I dont know about those shooters or not but I am using a semi cheap card HD 6670 with a display port adapter to dvi and dvi to HDMI for the TV. I have been doing research for a while and there is barely any blackness with off angle viewing (i know its not an IPS) but it does do pretty good. I dont know about the speakers i havent used them i got a sound system for that. But this is a really good buy slim bezel 2x HDMI and USB port for video's i havent seen what formats it can play yet. I can post more info if anyone would like. I took a chance with TCL and i am very happy with my product.
