Perfect for small room.
By Sally J. Siegrist
Bought this tv for use in my very small breakfast room. There weren't many choices in 19 in tv's. It is the right size for the small table that it sits on. The picture is very clear, and the color is sharp. The volume is fine for the small room, but I do wish it was loud enough to be clearly heard in the adjoining kitchen. LCD is just fine for the size--no need for plasma. I would definitely buy the same one again.

TV angle cannot be adjusted
By Deuk
I've had this TV for 1 month. It is OK and the purchase was good for the features. I have it connected to my computer via the HDMI connector as well as to my cable TV line. It's a good, compact size and fits well on my desk. The four favorites buttons on the remote control are very convenient. To the subject... "TV angle cannot be adjusted" is a quote from the user's manual, but not anywhere on the Amazon page for the product. This is a problem since the vertical viewing angle seems to be very small. The Amazon page specifies a 170 degree horizontal (left and right) number and a 160 degree vertical (up and down) number. That just means you can see the picture; the quality is vastly degraded at those angles.I expect most inexpensive HD TV/Monitors have small viewing angles without degradation. I calculate the vertical view angle to be about 10 to 15 degrees without noticeable degradations, (like washed out faces and loss of contrast). A high quality LCD TV might be 20 to 30 degrees. To compensate for a small vertical viewing angle, a tilt is usually available; sometimes a height adjustment; sometimes both. Without the adjustment, unless your eyes are at the level of the screen, the picture appears washed out for this TV. For instance, sitting about 3 feet from the screen, it only takes your eye to be about 3 inches higher than the top of the TV for the center of the screen to appear washed out. The stand is very short on this TV, so I think typically it would not be at your eyeball level whether it sits on your desk in your office or sits on your kitchen counter. The picture is good with direct, inline viewing. It is a shame Sharp didn't provide a tilt feature. For me, it is fine since I just put an old paperback book under the front of the stand to tilt it up. My relative position to the TV doesn't change.

Perfect small TV and video set
By B. BOJANOWSKI
I needed a small TV monitor for my whole house TV surveillance system. This one is perfect. I can also use it for TV because it is versatile with many inputs. It runs continuously.
