I had never heard of this brand, but the price was only $70 more than the 40in. TV we were going to buy until the price jumped $100. There were NO other product reviews to consider. Decided to take a chance. Product arrived three days sooner than the estimated delivery date. The deliver guys unboxed it, set it up for us, and turned it on. Husband figured out how to hook up the DVD and game players. There are dozens of buttons on the remote and for me operating this thing was NOT intuitive. I had to actually read the owner's manual. Heavens! So far it does everything it's supposed to do. We rented a Blu-Ray of "Avatar" and compared it to the standard version of the same movie-- great picture! Use the aspect ratio control (ARC button at the bottom of the remote) to tweek the picture stretch. That being said, the picture quality is entirely dependant on the video input-- garbage in garbage out-- but the TV itself is capable of an excellent picture. The audio however is OK for a flat screen, but limited; we plan to add extra speakers for surround sound, but haven't figured out how to make them talk yet. (Still reading the directions.) One piece of advice to the manufacture: you would do well to have the owner's manual, etc., proofed and vetted by a native English speaker. So far, we are really pleased with this purchase, and you can't beat the price (not yet anyway). I might give it five stars much later when its longevity is known. (Our Zenith TVs, CRTs, have lasted 20 years so far, our 36" Phillips-Magnavox lasted 12 years until we blew it out with a power surge.)

thought it was a great tv. picture was awesome. Out of the blue however one morning it stopped receiving any signal. not sure what went wrong .I am taking it for an estimate @ local repair shop will keep you posted. only lasted 22months.

It sucks. Has one green pixel that is always on. Picture is not as clear as my other HD tv's.
