Great Purchase

I was debating whether to get this TV for such a low price of $548. I tried to see if there are more reviews other than the existing 7 reviews in Amazon. I called on Dec. 16 (Sunday) afternoon at 4pm to see if Haier has any customer service representative working, and to my surprise there was a person answering the phone. I asked if there is any authorized Haier service center in San Francisco and the answer was yes. Therefore, I decided to give this TV a try and order it from Amazon. I received the TV today with enhanced home delivery (EHD). EHD means the delivery person will deliver the item inside your home and take the TV out for visual inspection and turning it on to ensure the unit is working properly before leaving. I immediately checked the TV by connecting it to a DVD player to ensure the HDMI ports worked. I also scanned the TV channels to ensure the tuner work. The TV work beautifully: the color is brilliant and the sound is good. I own two other TVs: a 40" Sony LCD and a 42" Panasonic LED. So far, I am glad that I make this purchase.

Great TV for price, plan for surround sound system

I just got this TV yesterday and for the price I think it gives you alot of bang for your buck. Its quite large with a great refresh rate. The sound however is terrible and you will definately need to get either a soundbar or surround sound system to compliment this system. I can usually live without one but this is the exception.

Good Value, Decent Picture, Very Terrible Sound Quality

This 55 inch TV was a great value for the price that I paid (under 700 +tax, shipped). I am happy with the Picture (1080p, 120 refresh rate, LED). My son has found that the tv picture quality degrades when very fast motion appears on the set. This causes some blurring...which was specifically mentioned as not being a problem for this TV.This TV has 3 HDMI inputs which is adequate. There is not a digital sound output as available from other brands.The biggest knock on this TV is the terrible sound quality from the internal speakers. I am able to use my digital audio output from my Directv box directly to my surround sound system, as well as our PS3 that we use for BluRay movies (and gaming), but there are times that I would not normally run the surround sound with my previous rear projection TV, and now I have to use the surround sound for everything.

My husband and I are very pleased with the picture color and sound on our new RCA 13.3 inch TV/DVD. We would highly recommend this TV. This TV is perfect for the small space that we have for it in our kitchen. It was very difficult to find a new small TV since most companies want to sell the very large TV's.

Good value

I wanted a small HDTV that I could put up on my desk so I could multi-task while using my MacBook Pro. I just set it up tonight, and so far am pleased with it. Since the screen is only about two feet from my eyes the small screen size is not particularly an issue. Phenomenally it appears larger than the larger HDTV that I watch across the room at my friend's house. I can't give it 5 stars, though, because the picture does not appears as sharp and crisp as hers. But its still a heck of a lot better than the CRT set that it replaced, and its possible that it might be better after I tweak the settings. Overall, I am pleased that I bought this set, based on my research it appeared to be the best one to fit my needs, and so far I am forced to agree.

late delivery

The T.V. itself is great.I found it in a retail store and was able to compare the picture and features to Sony,Samsung etc. And it was the BEST.The delivery was not what I expected. They gave me a four day window then moved it back another week which caused me inconvenience since I was in town for the original dates but out of state for the second. Had I known they were going to change the dates I would have found another vender.The price was ver good, however. I saved $700.00 by not going the retail route.It all worked out and I am happy with the purchase.

Vertical Lines ruin a great picture

TV worked great for about three months, then a vertical line appeared on the right side of the screen. A few weeks later, a vertical line appeared on the left side of the screen. We will now have to work with Mitsubishi's customer service to determine what the problem is and how they will fix it.Overall, the picture is great after the line disappears (usually 30 min after turning it on).

Great buy

I lucked up and got this baby for $1,000 even w/ free shipping. The HD and digital cable picture is flawless and the sound is great even w/o surround speakers.Plenty of features including the PC hookup which is friggen great. I didn't think I'd use that at all but I went ahead and hooked up a wireless mouse and keybord to my PC which means I can do everything I want on my machine but now I have a 56" screen

Great HD Television

I purchased this Zenith HD TV from ShopNBC a year ago and have had no problems. It's one of the earlier HD DLP's and has only one HDMI slot and is a 1080i. Honestly, I can see very little difference between this and the 1080p models. BD looks great on it. I hooked it up with the Onkyo 805 with a Samsung BD1400 and everything works and sounds terrific. I have a Bose surround sound system and I never heard them sound so clear. Zenith probably doesn't make this model anymore but if you are on a low budget and looking for a good HD TV, this one will work very well for you. I have read many poor reviews about the Sammy BD1400. I don't care about PIP or BD Live...nor do I know of anyone who cares much for those features. The bottom line is that I am very please with my low end entertainment system. The Onkyo 805 is one powerful, dependable, and well thought out AV Receiver with all the features one could possibly need for a home entertainment system. The THX sounds unbelievable. With it three (HDMI) inputs, I have all I will ever need for my needs. When the PS3 160 becomes available, I will at last have a completes system. I am confined to a wheelchair and can't get around as I once did. This system with the Zenith is everything I will need and I am very happy with it. Thanks and have a great day!

Great TV

This TV is great. It has lots of features including a QAM tuner built right in for receiving digital cable without the need for a setop box. The 1080i is just beautiful on this TV. I paid only $1099 shipping included which is a lot less than some of the other HDTV's out there and it is just as good if not better. I definitely recommend this TV to everyone that wants one.

Once of the Cheapest LED out there. The picture is crisp and the sound quality is great. maybe the 22" was built different than the 19" . overall , for the price, i think it is very good purchase.

Poor quality - broken audio-in

I bought one of these from "The Wiz" (not Amazon), but I'm reviewing it here because The Wiz no longer carries this model.For a 19" 720p LED screen, I thought the picture was really lacking (I did get my eyes checked at about the same time, and it was not my eyes that's the problem!). Right from the start, the sound was "tinny", no matter how many adjustments I made to the Setup. So, I bought a set of external speakers with a woofer, and the sound was better. Then, after about six months, the "audio-out" (that the speakers were plugged into) stopped working. I checked the speakers on a different piece of equipment, and the speakers were fine; so, the problem is the TV unit. Of course, it's beyond the labor warranty (only 90 days), and only the parts warranty (one year) applies now; so, we'll see how much they will cover to fix this. In any case, they charge $25 for return shipping on ANY warranty work. That sucks! I would NOT recommend this product.
